Leather Couch Cushion Replacement
The seat cushions on a leather sofa wear out long before the rest of it. We replace the worn leather with new leather, matched to your sofa and colored by hand.
Why We Replace the Leather
The seats carry the most weight on a sofa. You sit on them every day, so they wear out first.
When the leather on a seat cushion is cracked, worn thin or torn, a new leather cushion cover lasts longer than a repair. Your old leather served you 15–20 years, and new leather will serve you the same. Most often we replace only the top panel.

We pick leather with the same grain, thickness and feel, then color it by hand — several shades, the same pattern and shading your sofa already has. When one cushion out of four is replaced, we add the same light wear the others have.

What If My Cushions Don't Come Off?
On many sofas the seat cushions are sewn to the frame and don't come off. We make them removable: each cushion gets its own leather cover with a zipper. The sofa looks exactly the same, only now the cushions come off.

Pick a time. Most repairs are done at your home.
Foam and Filling
If the seats have gone flat, we can replace the foam or the filling while the cushions are with us. Tell us and we'll include it in the price.
BeforeAfterWe Pick Up and Bring Back
We come to your home, take the cushions with us and bring them back when the work is done. For some areas there is a travel fee — we tell you the amount together with the price, before any work starts.

Yes, that's the most common job we do. We repeat the pattern of your sofa on the new leather.
Is it worth repairing the cushion instead?
It depends on the condition of the leather. If it's still strong, a repair will work and we'll tell you so.
